On reservations they still sing the song. It is so true. He is our friend. You bring the reader to an understanding of how it was. Many good high places especially the thought of taking the dead child from the mother. Easier said then done.

Know this, that you have my respect from the first to the last word of review, no matter how many stars. I love the mention of this song on the reservation. I think to of how Apostle Paul spoke of the gospel from general revelation to special revelation through Jesus, and how it impacted Indian life, despite the fact that those who moved west did not always have good intentions and pure motives. For all have sinned...I'm blessed to know you.

That is one of simple hymns that carries an amazing truth with, how we should love God with all our hearts for His goodness, and never lean to our own reasoning, no wonder He looks at our hearts and not our deeds.
