I thought this was a well written piece. As I was reading it it made me think of when we allow our imaginations to run wild, it can take us to many different place. I enjoyed reading it.

A great rendition of the club's challenge. So many things represent a color blue, and you listed some of them well.
Traveling further into darkest blue
of nighttime cosmic travel,

The vastness of the sky and its intricate changing from light blue on to the dark blue of night and your many lovely chosen words to describe the transformation, is an imagery of beauty. Especially here...
"that twinkles like a dazzling sapphire
cut so perfectly -- the image,
behaves as beveled glass,
projecting into infinity,
guiding my soul onward."
