Never a dull moment! I will be sad when this series ends--I hope you've got a long way to g--1972 until....? Cheers. LIZ (first sentence: omit commas setting off "you and I had been married" and reword the rest of the sentence ...consistently at only two jobs, mostly the last one, where you were a draftsman for the oil company)

Thanks Liz. You were right. That sentence did need reworking and I did. I'm not sure where I'll stop this story. My youngest daughter says she has to be part of it before I can stop, so we well see. New Orleans is a town in which adventure happens. LOL

Seems you are as resilient as I with all those moves. Interesting paragraph on your husband hearing that voice about his paycheck. Hubby pushed your button when he said you had no sense of adventure. Your statement about being lucky not to know what the future holds is so true.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. Remember the fortuneteller told all of us there would be change and we would all move from Mississippi. We all did.

This is an exciting fast moving chapter and left me with a cliffhanger. Your life is interesting and the readers get to watch our children grow up as well.

You're welcome.

Oh, Beth, I love this story of your life. I've been to New Orleans a few times but that has nothing to do with actually settling and living there. You were all so brave. Can't wait to be reading on. All best. Ulla:)))

Thank you so much Ulla, New Orleans was quite an experience for me .I almost had more cultural shock going there than the times I've gone to Europe.

What an impressive story you penned here. This is what we're sure you meant it to be, a lovely tribute to your husband. This story really captivated us and held our attention throughout. The picture accompanying this is lovely. Have a wonderful night.

I love the way you are writing these memories. I wish I was doing it in the same way, but I'm doing it first person. The lovely way you present everything is quite appealing. I am enjoying the read very much.
NB:
>next for you, you seemed relieved that you wasn't being considered for
wasn't s/b weren't
>discuss it with to your wife. (This needs fixing)
>"They still demolishing houses. (This needs fixing)

Thank you so much for the review and comments. Thanks for noticing the errors. I'd fixed a couple of them while I was waiting for someone to comments. But you saw one that I didn't. I appreciate you reading this.

Dear Beth , you carry on with your story very well in this chapter.
There are several places you need to correct your grammar before filing this away. ( just look it over in the morning when your eyes are rested, and you will spot them easily. )

Thank you for the review and nice comments. You are right. My eyes are tired. I just fixed one while you were probably still reading but I'm sure there will be more.

Wow - decisions- decisions - so difficult to decide when a young family is part of the potential move to another place - but you were brave souls and took the leap of Faith - looking forward to the next chapter
