This terzanelle, Tasks Yet to Do, has the good looking format although the rhyming scheme is different than the model. This message is a good one though. We have a job to do and the longer it takes to realize that, the less time there will be to achieve the desired result.

Found this: ...more (good) days...

I do not understand what this poem is saying. Doing god's tasks makes you like god then? Maybe there was a meaning that I missed. Either way, I think this could be clearer to the reader.

Our chief task God sent us to earth for is to give and bring Glory and Honor to Him. Our lives are a living sacrifice to Him as well. This is our privilege as well as our duty.

This format is beyond my talents so I salute your skill. It appears to me to be very well done. It carries some very inspiring thoughts. I am not sure about your picture or how it ties in, but I give you five stars on your words alone.

Roof35. yea the tough part of the Pix this Club challenge each week is to take the graphic they provide and write some type of poem around it, can be dicey at times.

JLR,
This is such a difficult poem form, and you have done it well.
From birth we are part of God's great plan, it's up to us to accept it when He calls us. I especially love the line 'living large with borrowed time.' It is God gave us our days and
we should serve him in everything we do. We owe Him, and He always gives us gentle reminders.
Excellent work.
Blessings,
Cindy

Cindy, thanks this PIX This Club graphic was a bit different so I went with what I think about.... why I am here.?...

JLR, I believe most of us are here for the small acts of kindness we do for other people. Things that could save a life or a soul.

The form looks rather complicated, but the result is a well-written poem with refrains that emphasize the meaning. You do well with this but will you ever know if you have?

"Wondering, have I missed one?
God's tasks were assigned to me.
living large with borrowed days,
God's tasks were assigned to me!"

I do not think we the Divine plan allows us to know one way of the other, we must just keep forging through life as though we still have something unknown.

Lovely poem-form, this terzanelle. I didn't know this form. Suits this poem very well too. Beautiful theme, and I recognize in me the same question. Did I do all I was supposed to do in this lifetime? Is there more? I listen to His voice, I let myself guide by His presence in me, and still, I wonder...

A very well-written Terzanelle about celebrating yourself and what you did through your life that you can be proud of and knowing Gid will be pleased with what you gave done.
