Another great chapter. You did a good job with rescue scene, and handled the fight, without graphic violence. I know that's not this book's style.
I did find this one line a bit odd.
'He came up behind Trey with a cocked AK47.'
I don't think the model of gun mattered. Wouldn't men like them say something like. He had the droop on Trey.

I'm so glad that Max was finally found. The one thing I know that you made the finding of her tense and very clear of how you described the clever ways of letting us readers know what was going on to find Max.
I take it you are going to tell us how Max is doing after her dramatic incident of being kidnapped.

You need to write a procedure Manuel for the police department. Your military knowledge kicked in within this write. Glad they got the job done. The brass at the base could get some credit LOL.

Great description of the procedures these military guys followed. I knew there had to be a lot of people involved, the way they were always able to keep tabs on Mac and Logan. Some of these guys are bound to talk, so we'll know who's behind it all. Excellent chapter. I'm glad it appears that Mac is going to be okay, despite the beating she took. judi
