A loop poem, well done. Moms see everything, even when not there they see what happened. I like the premise of this one moms are super heroes; so are teachers:) Good luck. Steve

Lol! :) You know, I got used to 'nobody' around except the husband that leaves things, but now... lol! :) :) Thanx so much, Stephen - have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette

All right , yu got me, this one is six material. It flows so easily, if fun to read and the rhyming is done in such a way it is not jerky but part of the content

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, Barb - usually loops are my nemesis and there have been contests I've skipped out of frustration in trying to make it sound 'unforced', but this one just 'happened' after I cleaned up the kitchen that night -- think the Lord knew I needed something to just 'go smoothly' without questions or queries and here it is! I didn't have a lot of time and I had determined that if it was in the least starting to annoy me, I'd quit - soooo... here it is!! ;) :) Thanx for those lovely stars, my lady -- they'll make a bit of brightness midst all this rain today... :) :) Take care this week! ;) Yvette

With our three boys, we each had our own way of handling it. I had custom made cubicles in the kitchen for all their school stuff. My husband made it clear that if anything was left on the counter, he'd throw it out in the woods. He only had to do it once. I, on the other hand, decorated the den in denim blue and white so all the socks, sneakers, and even jeans just blended right in. Then in the fall, I used orange toss pillows, which blended right in with all the orange (school color) football jerseys and spirit wear. Really cute poem and well-looped.

Amazing the things we came up with, yeah? You sound as though you and I could have written a book, Susan!! ;) :) You know, I got used to 'nobody' around except the husband that leaves things, but now... lol! :) :) Thanx so much for your review and those wonderful stars, my lady - they'll help to make this rain a bit more bearable!! ;) :) Have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette

Raining there, too? I actually have written a book of my columns. The hard part was going through 1200 stories and narrowing them down to 75. It?s on amazon: A Word?s Worth.

For years, my boys though I had an eye under my hair on the back of my head, and magic ears. They couldn't figure out how I always knew what they were doing in another room even. Ah, the magic of mothers. We all have it. Choosing the owl was appropriate. 8-)

Mom's Magic Vision
by Y. M. Roger

Hello, Yvette,

Heh heh heh... I like your way of thinking...moms are magic. It's like we know what kids will do before they do it. LoL I love the presentation. Well done my friend.

Got to be a virtual 6, Yvette, it's a fabulous loop poem. Yes, my mum was much better than I ever was, and she didn't show me how to second guess my boys! I think she was on their side all the time. Why do grandmothers think they can do what they wouldn't do when they were just mothers? I really enjoyed your poem, my friend, I wish you the best of luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Great work here in the Loop. You see a lot when you're a mother.
Mothers are in charge of everything.
Everything that means anything.
Anything that's out of place. LOL:)Ralf

This is wonderful and superb! Not only the message but, the choice of words and phrases to describe the "magic sight" of moms'. The flow is smooth, the rhymes, a delight, the loop poem an incredible success, which all deserve an exceptional rating, no less. (I can't help but rhyme even my reviews, it seems). Your message is grand! And so underappreciated by the masses, as they turn to their mothers to solve any and everything imaginable. You put what others take for granted into a marvelous loop poem. This seems like it came easy for you; the message, the clever phrases, the ability to loop the most unusual words..but I'll bet you worked hard at it. You tell me, did this come together, seemingly seamless, as easily as it appears? The artwork of the wise owl is very appropriate for the theme. My favorite two lines are the last two, "Seems super heroes need patience: Patience with moxie supreme!" This ends with a bang, and a creative choice of words, such as "moxie." Thank you for this lighthearted leap into ideas otherwise taken for granted, and made as important as they really are!
Take care,
Jesse

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, Jesse, but there is no 'natural' for me on these things! :) ;) Usually loops are my nemesis and there have been contests I've skipped out of frustration in trying to make it sound 'unforced', but this one just 'happened' after I cleaned up the kitchen that night -- think the Lord knew I needed something to just 'go smoothly' without questions or queries and here it is! An excellent poem that I enjoyed reading. Yes, mothers do see when things are out of place. I didn't find any mistakes. You did a wonderful job. Take care and stay well. Shirley
