I know Bill has to make it back to Cathy. I do know many didn't make it home to their loved ones during the Vietnam Crisis. But in this novel, they just have to and raise that baby. I am really enjoying this story.

This is another very well-written, interesting chapter. A lot of excitement was going on a couple of close calls. I love Bill's humor through it all. Think he about drove the poor doc nuts, lol. The poem is beautiful so warm, heartfelt. I could feel the love Bill has for his family on every line. I do hope he makes it home to Kathy and the baby.

I would imagine Bill is such good company, always cheerful and laughing. Nothing really phases him just so long as he has God's ear and his Cathy's love. Nice chapter. It was very intense in places. There was a lot of guy talk and joking around. I guess men in life or death situations have to make jokes to break the tension. I look forward to the next chapter.
