Dear Beth, this chapter contains more information your children will need to know about how politics in the south changed because Kennedy ran for President and was elected.
I found that the fear of his Catholic Faith and the Pope influencing him was a concern in Colorado too. I suspect a lot of people nationwide we're influenced by that fear. Another lesson learned, for those who read your Biography

Thank you for the review. I didn't know whether to include that about Southern politics or not. I didn't want to offend anyone. I do appreciate your comments.

Dear Beth tell it like it was!
Anybody can CHOOSE to be offended. You are NOT responsible for THEIR choices!

Well done. Another good dramatic read. You certainly had an interesting working life. Can't wait to hear about the phone calls. No spags. Keep em coming.

Thank you for your review and comments. I think maybe I should have started my own business and and stayed away from working in public. I always seemed to get in trouble.

Yeah a drafting service for surveyors and stuff or artwork business. Maybe I should get you on board for some artwork for my book covers. I have a lady in North Queensland our Northern state that might be helping me as well. She is a great artist. In her forties mother of 4 kids. I taught her and her little sister for a very short time when she was 8 and her sister was 6. I mention them in my book her sister when on to become a music teacher so I started something with one of them anyway. She is on Facebook too.

Are you self publishing through Amazon or do you have another publisher?

Hoping Sally Odgers (Sallyo) from Tasmania (our Southern Island state)will publish my autobiography for me. But I have not got publishing organized for my other 5 books. These Include the Book of Poultry, Geoff's Rambles (I might be giving that away with the "Little Dog" book...Geoff's Spiritual Poems and Essays, Geoff's Musings- Poems and Essays. Lastly my book of Really Truly Christmas Carols. There is a collection of Rants Raves and Tributes that is mainly concerned with stuff in Fanstory. Not sure that will get published.

Wow! I'm impressed. You've been doing a lot of writing.

Oh my goodness! What an awkward situation! And I hope those phone calls weren't from Lee. He must have been yearning for something that you seem to have.
That is peculiar about the "fortune teller" getting so much correct. Women can sense another woman being pregnant but how could she have known about Lee?
I really enjoyed your description about your work in the glass factory. I was thinking lately about all the work that women did behind the scenes and you showed yet another instance!

Thank you for your review and comments. Yes it was awkward. Putting me to work in a room with only one man was a recipe for disaster but I didn't see it coming. The fortune teller kind of freaked me out too.

How uncomfortable for you, I think your hubby was right, men by enlarge can't be friends, like women with one another, I had lots of male friends, I was a very active sportsman when I was young, so I had lots of friends. I remember the silk screening, a lot of the places I worked in don't exist anymore, well done, Beth, excellent biography, blessings, Roy

Thank you Roy, I never seem to understand that. I was in a situation where I placed side by side with someone day after day and I didn't know any other way to act other than to be friends. It wasn't the ideal work situation to keep your distance. It became very uncomfortable. I do appreciate your understanding review and comments. Beth

My daughter was very friendly, but very pure, she would speak to boys nicely, next thing id get a cat wanting to speak to her, but I would fob them off, I was protective of the girls, she married the love of her life when she was only 17, they married two years later. (Still are, 21 years later.) thanks for sharing. Bless you Roy
-
My parents were pretty protective too but when I married at 18, I was more naive that I should have been.
-
My daughter was innocent, but incredibly God wise. Bless you Beth

Obviously, the taletelling is expressive; I liked the flow of thoughts, diverse orders of contributory and realistic dialogues, I enjoyed the bizarre experiences shared in words; curious ending; well done.

I love your story, it was well versed. I'm an old man now and living in Tennessee but I grew up in Cleveland Ohio in the sixties. My Father worked for Monarch Aluminum which made Club pans. The factory was destroyed by a tornado so his job was lost. This is the only job I knew my Father had because I never asked him what he did for living. Tell your stories so they will be remembered, my only regret is that I didn't. Great story, best of luck.

I think I must be older than you because I grew up in the fifties and I'm just now telling my story so it's never too late to start. I'm also in Tennessee. I'm glad you like my story. Thank you for the review and comments.

Gripping, Beth. I was riveted the entire time--and I'm getting paid to read this compelling piece! You relate the tale masterfully, setting the scene and describing the "fatherly" Lee. You sure never saw that one coming--you perfectly convey your shock. Cheers. LIZ

Thank you so much Liz. I thrilled with words like "Gripping and riveted. I'm glad you found that interesting since I was afraid it might be too long.
