I would give you ten stars if I had it. Your work is excellent. So much hope and little tidbits of knowledge on how to deal with this crisis. May God bless you and yours. Shirely

Well, I broke my foot a few weeks ago and had to have surgery. I was quarantined because of my foot before it was even a thing. You don't have to worry about me spreading anything. lol. I hope you're able to call a church, a neighbor, someone, to help you get food and stuff. It is a scary world out there now.

Liphe recover fully, I am actually a prayer chaplain at our church and on the front lines helping our closed in congregates get groceries, to the doctors and just a simple card letting them know they are not forgotten.

I really like how you wrote about the reality of what hope means. If you don't adhere to the recommendations of prevention, then you may not have any hope of surviving anything deadly. People forget that trusting God through a crisis like this means you take care to make good use of the education and instruction that he has put here for us. That is what trusting Him is all about, not necessarily immediate miracles. thanks for sharing this!

Thanks for sharing this reminder to slow down to use common sense and practice good hygiene and treat each other with respect in these difficult times. God is in control and he will see us through. Bill

Gloria in Excelsis Deo! Bill, we must be reflective in these times but not give in to fear. I am reminded of Matthew 6:25-27, may you find acceptance and extra measure of endurance during these coming days. Jim

"You have the Power", is a well-written and thought-provoking piece. This talented poet's work gives a great deal for the reader to mull over. Good luck with the contest!

I really enjoyed reading this poem although I found the rhyme a bit dodgy in parts. You send out a very good message. I wish you lots of luck in the competition. Jen.

I like the hugs vs bugs and the virtual high fives. Rhythm and rhyme are forced--perhaps you can tweak. Good mid line rhyme with nice and twice. I call those bonus rhymes! Cheers. LIZ

You have done masterful job with this poem. It is indeed time for us to show our better natures through kindness and thoughtfulness. We should remember the golden rule, and treat others like we want to be treated.

Hope springs eternal for sure, but as your poem conveys, selfishness can stop it up in a hurry. Your poem removes panic from the equation by reminding people of common senses tactics to prevent the spreading of disease and panic. Than you for this entry, wish you well.
