Oh, it was delightful to see this new chapter pop up. The groundskeeper just keeps meeting more creatures. At least he has earned a few allies so far. Those imps appear to be trouble.
I love the description of the imp falling with the sound of an 'un-oiled hinge'. It is such an easy sound to imagine and so descriptive.
Looks like Constantine and Sir Archie have the situation well in hand. Or so we think...

Thanx so much for the review, WJ -- your support is always so wonderful and I am forever grateful!! ;)
I do so apologize for the tardiness (and cut-and-pastiness!) of this response, I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get ?ahead? in this ?change of venues? (i.e., instruction in cyberspace ? lol!), I promise to be back to ?me? in my responses? you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Be safe and, remember, if you see any offerings/reviews from me, they are my ?escape? from this insanity? you know, my pressure release valve!! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we?ll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days? hopefully!

Don't work too hard and stay safe. Good luck with the new challenge

This indeed was an action packed chapter. It was easy to pick up and follow. Oh those nasty imps, Sir Archibald definitely took care of them. It would be interesting to know what was in the spray. It didn't seem to kill them, just immobilize them. Great job Yvette.

Awe, Yvette, another great little chapter to this delightful story. I thoroughly enjoy it and I think it's a great story aimed at pre-teen audience. I'm looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))

C7 -Those Pesky Imps
by Y. M. Roger
Hello, Yvette,
It amazes me the way you created a fantasy world in a garden. It's easy to imagine the little imps, the armadillo, and the gnome Constantine. Great characters. Great story. Good job with the chapter. Take care my friend.

Wonderful whimsy here. Vivid imagery and fresh humor. Boy, these are one mischievous bunch of buggers. Love the blueberry SPLAT! Sets the tone and takes off from there! Cheers. LIZ

You're so funny... I have no earthly idea how you keep all of these straight. One day I'm going to see imps dancing around the garden with Bongo and I'll know you've gotten all mixed up! LOL Love you! :)

LOL!! You never know... with all this 'onlining and streamlining and trotlining.... :) Okay, the last one there is a fishing thing, I just couldn't think of anything else! ;) :) Take care and thank you for everything! ;)

Well, that was a thing. It's good Sir Archibald knew how to handle those "imps." But I'm curious as to what was in the spray and how did Archie know to use it. And what did it smell like other than it feeling sticky? Enjoyable cast of characters!

This was my second dose for chapter of your book Yvette.
I like the action in the blueberry splattering and then the mist almost like Raid!
...
This was well written and rich in Theme and Imagery.
It read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly.
Thanks,
Doctor Ricky 1024

Hey Yvette. Been a while since I've seen the pink door. Since Archie found some anti-imp spray ad the hardware store. I'm going to have to check Lowe's to see If I can get some. That's quite an imagination you have there.

Lol! I'm gonna become an online teacher.... at least that's my positive thinking at 0330 hours since we got the email last night that everything's just canceled... ugh. ;)

Looooove it! So, do you think I can borrow Archie to stop the imps eating me every summer? Wow, was I surprised to see the garden shed in my messages, I thought I must have been taken to Heaven! I love Archibald, what a hero! I will now put myself back into hibernation for a month, give me a shout when the next part comes! lol. Well done, my friend, this was just such a pleasure to read. :)) Sandra xxx
