Of course Gizmo can project them out of there, I'm glad you state that they aren't quite human, and live in box-like dwelling without windows, and, of course, speak in an unknown tongue, at least to Herbie and Eric. "They're nervous. Try smiling and see what happens then." Herbie's keen eyes homed ~ do you mean 'honed' instead of homed? It may be a language thing, if so, never mind. :)
What he did do was spin his eyes around and around his middle so he could keep watch them both. ~Nit. keep watch 'on' them both.
I really enjoyed this chapter. Well done. It was fun, easy to read and flowed beautifully.

You are the 3rd person to point out the 'honed' 'homed' words. It's more common here to use 'homed' but I did check it out on Google, and apparently the 'honed' is used more in North America and Canada. But the other bit might surprise you, the publishers in America prefer 'homed' but will accept 'honed'.
It's really interesting to learn these differences in our language, both English, but with slight variations.

I doubt anyone explored the sea, or risked falling off the edge of the world,
or encountering great sea monsters.
It looks like there's going to be a big pow-wow. Things seldom change, even after thousands of years. I hope Drozig isn't the medicine man. :)
Maybe you could talk Eric into letting you take a trip on his bike. Where would you go??

Hooray! You've found Atlantis. I've always wanted to travel there.

Our Gizmo is so darned clever! Lol. The 10,000 years is about the only true factual part in the Atlantic conundrum, simply because Plato stated it and it's in the history book. Apart from that, no one really knows if it's true of false. That's the fun part about writing this story, I can put everyone out of their misery and get Eric to find out the truth of the matter! It's nice to know we'll be in the history books now! lol! Oh, if I could use the bike, I'd be knocking on your door and joining you and Pam for a coffee!

Aw thank you for the six stars, Linda, and yes, I know no one called possibly call you shy! LOL!!!! Well, a new story, and yes, it's all thanks to Graham putting the idea of this one in my head, I wasn't going to write any more of them, but everyone seems to be pleased I am, they are all thanking him! He's walking around with a head the size of a prize watermelon! LOL. I'm still sorting Noah's book out, I'm editing and trying to illustrate it as well. So tell him he'll have a copy soon!
I'm thrilled that you like the start of this one, I can really use my imagination on it because no one even knows if Atlantis really exists, let alone been to see it. Lots of fun ahead. Hey you, I think it is great Graham put the idea in your head...so romantic...you can't stop writing them...I haven't even had the chance to see Eric in his first sports car...with his bike in tow...LOL...
and what's great about Atlantis...is all the things you can come up with on an Island that was...or wasn't...your call...I got chills...I'll be looking for Noah's book...and so will he...he'll be the talk of the library...hmmmmmmm...we'll have two watermelon heads...life is good...LOL...well!!! back to packing again...but I always leave my big suitcase in the car...I just take things out....and replace them...and as I do my wash I just keep it in the house I am at...LOL...back I have my smaller suitcases with me...

The story seems to be just what a youngster would love to hear told. One with his name and with an adventure I'm sure would keep him, and probably his friends, deeply enthralled.

I hope you come back and write more of your books so I can join in from the beginning. Yes, these are for my grandson who is struggling with his dyslexia, when he asked me if I would write a story for him, my mind went into overdrive. I'd do anything to help encourage him and it seems to be working, his school, which is for special needs children, have bought copies of the first two adventures, so that was most encouraging for me!!! Hi Nancy, Thank you so much for the six stars! I'm delighted you enjoyed reading my story. There will be lots going on over the coming weeks.
My grandson is dyslexic and does struggle with reading, so when he asked me if I'd write a story about him Eric and Herbie's adventures began. I'm loving writing them. Eric has just turned 12, but I think the age group would be somewhere around 8 - 13 I'm honestly not sure, though as this is the first time I've written for this age group and Eric is far behind others of that age. He now goes to a local special needs school and is doing well there. My children stories have always been for the very young.
I admire you for entering the NaNo, and will keep an eye out for your novel.

I'm afraid Donovan didn't get to meet the real Atlantians but Eric has, now you are going to learn about the real story behind the 'Lost City' for a start, how come it's lost when it was never found?? I do hope you will stay around to learn the answers to these questions and others that no one thought to ask.
