A very good chuckle. I can hear that great ol' suthan twang. This reminds me of some radio shows of yesteryear in which two people of character have humorous dialogues. Well done. Sometimes I miss those simpler times.

You just gave me an idea. Maybe I'll start a Fred and Thelma Show.
Would you like to give me a subject you think would be funny that they can talk about. Each time, maybe I could ask for suggestions.

Hello That was fun, and a good entry for the dialogue only contest. Please check the rules and the example, I think you might have to change a few things with set up. Good e

Katharine,
I can hear this couple clearly. *smile* They sound like a few people I know. hahaha This is quite fun - with several puns that are remarkably clever. I enjoyed it a lot and wish you luck in the voting!

Well done. I so enjoyed reading this conversation. A bit of wit here and there and fondness seeping through the sarcastic remarks. So real and viable. The picture adds to the genre.

Love it. It reminds me of something humpwhistle would write. The playful argument contained in the dialogue is entertaining in itself, but it also speaks to a sweet relationship between Fred and Thelma (nicely chosen names, by the way - it gives a sense of their age. I don't think there's anyone under 50 with those names).

thank you. Those names just made me smile and meant an easy-going couple, happy and comfortable with each other. I don't even know anybody under 50 anymore, but don't think Ian and Heather would've worked. :)
Many thanks for the 6 and for your comments.
