This is my first read this morning and I am glad that it was as I truly enjoyed the humor of this neighborhood gossips. There is a ring of truth here as I once worked at a place where the gossip was more important than the work at hand and was led by a band of 3 top gossipers.
Very well done and a fun read.

I don't know how I missed this one. It seems to be these guys favorite past-time to run each other down. I'm see that in the working world around the water cooler. I don't any of that crowd coming to visit me. I guess it is typical of some to find something to criticize about everyone. Very creative script.

Reminded me of small-town gossips...news travels faster than the speed of light, but of course, no one knows if its true or what's been left out. sitting around needing something to do so they talk about their friend or neighbor...so sad.

I guess I missed this one! I wouldn't want to live in that neighborhood. I like your humor and all the petty criticisms that these people have of each other. I think as writers, we don't have much time or interest in keeping up appearances!
One question:
it's like putting a guerrilla in pink-and-purple polka dots. (Did you really mean guerrilla and not gorilla? )

Well isn't this a kick! So very "neighborly" --
Get any two together and the target lands on the odd "third" out. Darts and barbs flying! The recurring chatter is a hoot! "I'd say it's been 19 years, tops." Guffaw! I can just imagine the air kisses and back slaps when they all meet for the backyard bbq! Funny stuff, Liz! Amazed I missed this first time around!

What a fun script, Liz. At first I thought it was only the three men gossiping like they accuse women of doing. Then I saw and read the other part with the three women. It all sounds so true. The one out of earshot is the one that the others gossip about. I like the parallel scene idea. This was fun to read and hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
