Nice piece in continuation having lucid wording with good imagery at some places , captivating flow up to the end with lovely scenes, and lullaby.

Let's hope the good news is a lot better than the bad. I hate it when people say to me, you always want the bad new first so the good news takes the bitter taste away. It was good that grandpa got to know he was going to be a great-grandpa. I'm hoping that news will keep him going at least until he's seen the baby. I loved the lulaby, that was so sweet. Wow! I'm so glad Bill tumbled out of that mishap alive! Very cool encounter with his Navy Seal buddy, great nostalgic visit to Howard Johnson's and tremendous family reunion at the hospital -- adorable scene, kissing his fianceé's belly!
I remember Howard Johnson's very well, it was huge. Thanks for all the background videos. My husband says we still have a HoJo in Queens, NY and that he ate there about two weeks ago! It's on 165th Street and Northern Blvd. He said they're doing a booming business.
I didn't find any errors this time... beautiful story!

I read the previous end of the chapter and then the start of this chapter and I was a bit lost. If this scene is in taking place in Heaven that needs to be clarified. But it says at the end of the first paragraph that it would be reported to the State Highway Police..SO IF this guy was just hit by a semi wouldn't he be really hurt? I'm sorry if I'm missing something.

She quickly turned back her head and blushed, 'cause I had Cathy's pretty dress lifted up and was now planting a big kiss for the baby on her belly.~

I like the storyline. It's sweet and I believe the love between these people.
