I do enjoy reading this novel. I think it's about time Bill knows about the baby. I do hope he stays away from grenades, especially since they both had the same dream. I can't wait for the next post.

beautifully written work as always, my friend. Veitnam was a terrible war, and so sad how many soldiers returned home with mental or physical injuries, how many didn't return at all. I worked at the veteran's home in Iowa for 10 years, and met many of them. Take take and have a Merry Christmas, my friends~Debbie

beautifully written work as always, my friend. Veitnam was a terrible war, and so sad how many soldiers returned home with mental or physical injuries, how many didn't return at all. Oh my God. This takes me back. I was in the Air Force from 1960 -1964 on active duty. So very thankful that I did not have to go to Vietnam, so sorry for those who did. I almost missed this chapter, because I forgot that I had decided to start following the story. This is so well written and so evocative that my heart is shaken. I have had dreams that were so real that I was sure that they were destined to happen. I can hardly wait to read the next episode.
