I have been wondering how the tragic fires have been affecting you. I admired your rhythmic, rhymed stanzas as an update. I hope you too can beat the Big C and your recovery is smooth. Gentle hugs- Joan

On Fort Hood today, they did some controled burns and the air quality is horrible. I've been coughing every since I took my first graders outside. I do understand. Thank you for sharing.

The east coast is certainly copping a bashing at the moment. We are expecting a heat wave in a few days. I'm sorry about your health issues.
Just one spag:
Some thunder and lightening - spelling - lightning
Cheers

Oh my goodness, you're really going through the wars, my friend. Your author notes made me shake my head in dismay. Hopefully it helped to write this poem. Excellent creative rhymes and smooth flow made it pop in spite of the subject matter.
I wish you a speedy recovery and hope that things will normalize quickly in Sydney.
Blessings Julia

Thanks Julia. Appreciate your lovely review. We are going out this morning hoping it won't be too bad. I will have my handy mask on board.

We've been watching it on the television. It's awful. I feel so sorry for all you people affected by this. Your poem was excellent, it told the story of how hard it is to just take a simple walk now. Not to mention your surgery. I hope things improve soon. :)) Sandra xx

Thanks Sandra. The graft has healed but they are talking about either Radiotherapy, more surgery or both as there is still cancer there but you may have read that elsewhere already. I don't care for yet another graft off my leg!
-
I am sorry. This cancer strikes every family, I hope you won't need another graft. xxx

Good rains usually clear smog up. Nasty irritant to have to deal with. Maybe then you could resume your normal daily routines. Too bad all the fires.

I've been watching the news about Sydney's smoke haze. Things look pretty grim over your way. I hope you get that much needed rain soon to help clear the air. Take care. My thoughts are with you.

You did a great job with this. It is well written and I love your extensive notes that emphasize the importance of being careful to avoid starting a fire. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks Sasha. Some young kids have been totally ignorant OR wanting to get something going just out of "want to" not realizing how dangerous it is atm. Cheers.

Aaaah, yes, rain is certainly the best air-cleaner when it comes to particulates such as smoke and else... ;) :) A wonderful offering and hopefully your 'beating the rain drums' will bring some right soon! ;) Great match up of regime and scheme... ;) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

I've prayed for you Bro. The fires have been here too Bro, over on Eyre peninsula, Yorke peninsula, and Kangaroo Island, it's not, but you've had no rest over there, our church has been praying for rain far awhile now. Beautifully written bro, keep praying, hope things go well for you and Louise, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks Bro I was not aware of SA fires so sorry. We have some fireys up from Victoria helping and I think some from USA as well. I was really pleased to hear the Weather man on Seven here in Sydney (qualified meteriorlogist) state at the end of his report the other night that he is praying for rain. Some of the poli's have said praying for rain is not necessary! Go figure Who brings it? Lord Bless.

The Lord is Good, we need Elijah?s faith bro.
-
AMEN fer shore. I always get mixed up about whether Elijah or Elisha had to get God to open his servant's eyes when they thought the army was gonna attack them but God's army was surrounding the enemy's army! They that are for us are greater than they who are against us AMEN!

That was Elisha...I think

Yep always get them mixed up in relation to that particular instance I spoke of.
