This is a well-written, delightful poem. It succinctly and pleasantly
conveys a message about poets and reviews, stating a friendly desire to review and be reviewed. Made me smile!

Thanks Janice. I am just so honoured that an anonymous person has made it possible for me to stay another year. probably my 7th I think. Also to meet more new friends as so many have either gone or passed away.

What an inspirational post, Sankey. You have no idea of the identify of your benefactor? What a kind thing to do. But your benefactor speaks for us all. I still crave your comments and reviews as well.
This poem and your explanation has made my day. Welcome back.

I'm rejoicing with you today for this is an answer to my prayers! God is good, is gracious and kind. I thank Him for the many provisions He has provided me.
Sending you both my best as always,

Thanks Sis. The mind boggles at God'as goodness. I believe God has allowed this person to be a blessing and I know God will bless them too. Keep the story coming ok.
-
He is so so good. I have a new What The Blind Girl Saw coming on Sunday, hopefully. I've been slowed down with sickness.
-
Glad God is still in the prayer answering business Sis. Looking forward to your next chapter.

Good to hear that you'll still be around. There are many generous people here on FanStory. It's a most supportive community. Another recent example is the award of two scholarships to FS classes.

Right sounds good. Thanks so much for being such an enjoyable writer and encourager. I may get started on my Mum's "Megoirs" soon after I get my book underway for publishing. She was known as "Aunty Meg" hence the "Megoirs" Title.

This is a lovely post; highlighting, and in doing so, expressing your thanks to the kind person who has chipped in to your hopeful continuing presence here on FS.
It has given a little boost to my faith in this community of writers {smiles}.
I send my good wishes to your anonymous benefactor as well {thumbs up}.

Alex same here on the boost to faith in the community. One has to admit this place is the best set up for this sort of thing in spite of its shortcomings. Thanks for coming by.

Thanks for coming by mate. I did wonder but I know you are struggling your self atm. Nice to know that, too, about generosity.. Is Macular Degeneration part of your eye problem?
-
Yes, I have advanced Macular Degeneration.

Yes, I have advanced Macular Degeneration.

I know I told you a long time ago a dear lady I also mention in my biography had same she was a bit older than you are now. She was not blind on one eye though as you are. Althought I wonder with Mac Degeneration it could be equal to blind anyway?
-
Yes, once it reaches its peak, it results in full blindness.

Of course. You would have loved "Ninga" as her Grandchildren called her. She was such a good hearted person. She helped me a lot. As I said in my book we had lots of meals and cups of tea together. We both started at the church here in Penrith the same month of the same year. (1977)

Some people are so generous. That is great news that you will be able to continue to write, read and review here on FanStory. The exchange rate is terrible at the moment.

Thanks very much. I did a response on here and the system bucked and I lost it. You are right about the exchange rate. So glad I can stay for another year.

I don't think writers ever write to make a profit, but rather write to please their muse and the enjoyment we obtain from amusing ourselves. Your poem is well rhymed and filled with truth, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

A very well-written poem about the special gift an anonymous giver send to you. We can be thankful for every little help we get from others. I know the effects of the foreign exchange one dollar costs me fifteen to see sixteen Rand.
