There are eyes like that - they mesmerize - you can't seem to take your eyes away from that horrible gaze. I try to avoid all contact with person who have those eyes. They do scare.

A very well-written thirteen word horror poem. There are some people who are really evil but they hide it very well, except their eyes that cannot hide the evil soul within.

A little piece of free verse with an ingenious twist in the tail. the word 'permeated' is very well-chosen. The idea that evil can 'permeate', seep through gradually till it takes over totally is exactly right for the theme of horror this poem describes. This is pretty spooky, especially since the murderous eyes are being reflected back from a mirror. That deepens the torment even more. Excellent character development in such a short story.
