What I liked about this was the honest voices in the dialogue, very colloquial, and it made the characters come alive. We feel the passions of Cathy and Bill; the emotionally charged moment when Cathy explodes and then calms down when she finds the seductive nurse fired. They make up in the truck...while grandpa takes a drink and gets his head lost watching the lovers in the back. That truck keeps swerving, setting us up for...the crash! I think you have some good suspense there and it leaves us hanging for the next chapter. estory

I'm enjoying reading your book. I've been following it along and then keep watching for the next chapter. It's written well and I like the characters. I also like when things are referred to and then followed with something about it. Like Bobby Vinton, There I've Sad it Again. And TAB. I believe it was the first diet free pop. It actually had a bitter taste to it. Probably from the Saccharin. That was about the only sweetener back then and they knew it was harmful but people wanted diet so they could drink without feeling guilty over all the calories.

Hi Tootie. This roller coaster has a lot of ups and downs. Now what's up with the truck? There are two things in the story that "got" me. Popcorn Sutton and I were born the same year. We never knew each other or did any business, I just know of his "fame" and he was born in Maggie Valley. The other thing that caught me was Bobby Vinton and, "There, I've said it Again." I loved that song. I'm still reading and I'm in for the long run. Keep Going. Robert
