Hello Sal :)
What a lovely pairing of photograph and words.
Even though your eyesight is failing, your other senses compensate and you experience the joys of life fully. Love remains for sure.
Thank you for sharing this.
Best wishes to you as always, Debra :) x

Sally, you have love that speak from you. You have those fingers that caresses the keys. You have a loving husband. You have your children, your grandchildren that you love and they love you. You have thousands of people that read and smile at what you say. You have devoted FanStoryrians that care for you, I am one. :) You don't need eyesight to speak your mind. You have God on your side.

That is the kindest review ever, dear poet. It made my eyes tear! Thank you, it means so much you see me and enjoy my works. God is always on my side and yours, too. He is always on the side of anyone who will just believe in Him. Simple but true.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally :)

Who needs vision when you can see with your heart? It is evident you do this with great clarity. Your poem is lovely, and acknowledges what is truly important in life.

And I am looking at the beautiful smile on your face! I love this 6 word piece. It is loaded with so much, surrounded with things UNSAID, but felt!
AND . . . Granddaughter looks like a "mini" of you! Isn't that wonderful? A fantastic view from here, my friend, from the outside looking in. :) Hugs.

Thank you very much for your kind review and compliments. She really is a ?mini? of me, isn?t she? She is our family?s miracle child in every way, being born one year after the death of her sister. I prayed and prayed for this child. I still think it?s God speaking to me when I look at her, saying ?I heard you!? Thanks again for the review and comments. It means so much.
Sending you my best today as always,

Of course love remains. And even though I only know you through FanStory I somehow know you're a very loving person.
Thanks for taking part in this event.

If you love, and are surrounded by love, the physical senses lose a little of their importance. You've made good use of your six words. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Sally
Your short message of how your eyes are filled with love and knowing that your eye sight is diminished, make me feel how lucky I can see four my grand children who are all grown.

You are welcome Sally
When I had a stroke 3 months ago my vision has been impaired where I'm unable to see things that are to the left or right of me.

Very nicely done in only six words. Great memories. I recall pushing my kids on a swing...35 years ago! Time flies. Good luck in the contest!!

YOU should have entered this in the Six Word Poetry Contest as it certainly would have been a strong contender. The metaphor is artfully executed and the imagery it paints - serene. The message, while subtle in manner of expression, is powerful in depth of emotion. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

My son Ian has been holidaying in his Native Bali, with their mum working locally, and Indah on holiday from school, we've been looking after 2year old Dion, and school attending 7 year old sister, Indah. So I understand the love, they are our delight, we visit our three grand boys in Brisbane next week, beautifully written Sally, blessings, Roy
