Wow, Josh!! You just lit up my review registry and my afternoon, sir!! :) ;) Thank you so very much for stopping by today and for those lovely stars -- they really mean a lot! :) ;) Let's just say I was having one of my really SUNSHINEY days when I wrote this one .... I try to make them all that way even when the clouds like to try to muscle their way in! :) ;) LOL! :) :) You take care out there, sir, and know that you are welcome to stop by any time --- always a spot to sit a spell 'round here! ;) :) Yvette

This is so sweet! Really upbeat and inspiring words expressed in a few short lines. You can't put a price on joy that radiates from a child's laughter. Lovely words to live by. Should do well in the contest.

I love this one, too, Yvette. Do you ever write anything that I don't like? I would have picked this one out of a crowd as being yours. The colors, accents, and painting is so you. It's also unique and different though but that is you as well.
You could have another winner.

Thanx for this, MQ, ... I know I'm so far behind this week so, please don't doubt the sincerity behind those words just cuz I probably should have written them days ago. I can't remember when you're supposed to go on the road with your daughter, but I know it must be close.... I've been having you close in thought as I am preparing to try to get my baby ready to finish up this final year of high school .... and looking at the others' grads. :) ;) I hope you are finding the sunshine in the shadows to make sure there's enough there for her to take with her and for you to last until first 'visit' . ;) :) Also, hope your mom's doing okay as well --- you take care of you, Lady D! :) ;) Yvette

I am so behind this week, too? Even our rhythms are similar. Taylor has one more week with me. That's it. The house is a mess with the move, and I have both grandsons by myself this weekend. Everything will calm down soon, and I won't have anything to do but FanStory. I can't imagine.

The perfect artwork to accompany your 1-5-7. A smile doesn't cost anything and makes everybody's day. Good advice and I agree with it. Good luck in the contest. Marilyn

Smiles are the cheapest form of high society can offer... as long as there is sincerity behind them! :) ;) Thanx for sharing yours with me as well, Marilyn, your portfolio photo is just wonderful! :) ;) Yvette

It's probably true that we are indeed a canvas in which a painting or illustration of the uniqueness we each bring to this world, in spite of us each wearing a mask. Well done, an excellent entry in this 1/5/7 poetry contest, well done Yvette, good luck, blessings, Roy

Good luck Yvette. You certainly created a fantastic piece of reading and writing. Truer words could not have said so much so loudly. Very well done, good advise.

Yvette,
Wow. I think this is my whole philosophy of life in just a few syllables. *smile* And I adore the image you've chosen to accompany this powerful piece of work. Loved it all!

Oh, Robyn, thank you, thank you for these lovely shiny stars -- I'm really behind this week, but you should know that it does not lessen the impact of these stars 'round here (neither does it change how thankful I am!!).... Glad someone else has that smile philosophy! :) ;) Take care and thanx again! ;) YVette

I don't usually review these short poems. I tell you to explain why I am doing so now. I think this one is very good, and not just a bunch of words thrown out there. We should all strive the paint the world with laughter and smiles. This is beautifully worded, and a great picture to go with it.

Wow, Yvonne, your comments humble me, ma'am -- these short ones are always an interesting mix....I think that goes for my offerings for them as well -- harder to hide your mood with only so few words, you know, they either seem contrived, fake, or just plain fall flat! ;) :) LOL! ;) Yvette

A very well-written 1-5-7 poem and it is always better to paint our lives the way we want in the colors we love instead of dwelling on what is wrong and hateful in our lives.
