This was very well written, LIJ Red. I think you really captured a lot of people's feelings on this site about Michael. A true class individual who was a friend to all. Nice job.

I picked that poetic style to meet a club challenge as well as salute Michael, and the same word rhymes sound a bit flat to me, but get the message across...thanks very much for reading and reviewing.

It is so sad. We have lost some wonderful people on here.
And beciase we share writing we get closer than in normal circumstances
This is a beautiful tribute...what did he die from do you know
God bless

I have not heard what put him suddenly in Intensive care, on a ventilator, with a projected lengthy time there if he recovered. Yes, I have been jolted by the loss of several people I admired on Fanstory, beginning with Adewpearl...thanks very much for reading and reviewing.

Miley was my friend on her and mentor he was there for me always when I needed him.whenthe. People on go fund me turned there back he was the first on on the line to send me money to help ou. After I closed the go fund me account a few family and friends chipped in I raised 330 a far cry from the 50,ooo I need it but the thought count's I used that money to pay towards my husbands cremation for when the time comes.. We live on a tomb bomb waiting for the other shoe to drop for only God knows now that the cancer went from his lungs to through outhis body. That's why I had to turn to hospice for his care a year ago because I no longer could afford his treatments when chemo let him Dow. They wanted 3000 a visit for his medicine options per visit twice a month. Who can afford that and that was with my insurance paying their half.
I will miss Mikey forever and a day. He was my knight in shinning armour.

Medicare and Medicaid are halfway to socialized medicine, and in the end we'll have to go there. No one, not even the one rich per cent can afford modern American medicine out of pocket. Mikey was a thoughtful guy....thanks for reading and reviewing.

This is a wonderful tribute to Michael Cahill. I didn't know him, but from what I hear of him he was a friend to all, helpful, and will be missed greatly on the site. May he rest in peace. Marilyn

He answered a question or two for me in the forum, and then we had the conversation on profile comments about music...I didn't know him well, but what words we had were pleasant. Thanks for reading my Dahquain, it is not my favorite style, I fear.

I hope this never really happened. But if it did I am sorry. Thanks for this lovely poem. It showed much thought and affection. It was well written and I understood it all. Thanks for sharing.

Long time FS member Michael Cahill died last week, but the exchange between he and I was on profile comments some months ago, this may be a rigidly stylized poem, but it is true. Thank you for reading and reviewing.
