Was this one not difficult for you? The last two stanzas are fairly straightforward. I imagine they could have been easily conceived. But the first six stanzas must have taxed your brain for logic and rhyme. You just happened to know that Nostradamus was the son of Zebedee? Who knew that or that Nostradamus's name was John? Who but you would choose to rhyme with Zebedee?
You continue to amuse and amaze.

Hi Debbie,

I think I created the wrong impression, by trying to squeeze two different examples in a small space. John, the son of Zebedee, is also known as John the Apostle, who wrote the Biblical book of Revelation (which is almost solely concerned with prophecy). So that's how he fits in with Nostradamus (who was also obsessed with fortune telling), but I didn't make it clear enough that they were two separate things.

I'd meant to put in a footnote about John, but I was lazy :(

I should have known that, Craig. I am probably the only one who got confused. I have always tried to skip Revelations, because it is too obscure for me, but I knew that John wrote it. I can definitely see the connection to Nostradamus, who I also ignore because prophesies make me uneasy.
