Another word that is new to me. It's good to read a limerick where the bawdiness is suggested but not too overt - left up to the readers' imaginations to some extent. I think that is the main art of the form.

very, very good. there are not enough Limericks in the world today, it seems to be a lost art. when i was young the dirty Limerick was king. great job, CD..........meeshu

Yeah, the best limericks tend to lean on the bawdy side. lol This is rather chaste in comparison to some I've heard but all the elements are there. Also, a great word. lol
