This is a very well written poem about the clock watcher. I have to admit I used to be a really bad clock watcher when I worked a 9 to 5 job. You used very good words and the art work went well with your words. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Blessings, Teri

Thanks very much for the lovely comments, Teri. I think, for me, the clock watching depends on the job. If it's one that isn't much fun, then the day drags, and the clock gets a lot of attention. If it's something I enjoy, not so much :) Cheers, Craig

Nicely drawn together at the end with your word of the day being so intricately bound up in the alliteration! "That torpid tell-clock type" is a great turn of phrase. It reminds me of one or two civil servants that I have known!
