I love this word... such a big word for something so simple. I'll suggest my kid name her first girl Paranomasia and see what she has to say. Probly, "Gee, Mom, you're a genius! She's going to lovvve it, I'm sure."

What a great idea. At least you can be reasonably certain there wouldn't be four of them in her class first day of school :)
Comment from --Turtle.
Nice job illuminating the word of the day with a limerick explanation and example.
(I think cray cray might be cray-cray... but it's either or. Reason I had the urge to hyphenate is because then it looks more intentional and not not a double type. (for those who might not have heard the word. (I have heard the word... my daughter tried it out on me a few times. Aw, mom, that's cray-cray... ain't it? Yep, hon... It sure ain't. ; )
The limerick was easy to follow in beat, and I really liked the exhibit/ wit inner structure rhyming with fit. Use of cray-cray really loosens up the prim/ proper structure in a way that made me smile.

Thanks, Turtle. My initial thought was to hyphenate, as I've only ever heard it, not seen it written. When I checked, it seems it's "officially" done both ways, but more often without. So, being the coward I am, I went with the majority. Glad you got a smile out of it :) Craig

Not heard of 'cray cray' before, but your new word fits very well here, I am assuming 'cray cray' means loopy or loco! A fun write and I liked 'may the 4th be with you', that made me smile! Love Dolly x

Ha ha ha -- May the 4th be with you! That's funny! I'll have e to try it on my mom tomorrow. Thanks for the chuckles, Craig. May the force be with you on May Fourth!
Good flow and rhyming. Fun post. Great word.
Just one suggestion to write okay instead of OK here:
it's OK to be slightly cray cray.
Warm Smiles,
rd

It's lucky I'm not a Star Trek fan too - Live Long and Perspire just sounds yucky!
Many thanks for the lovely review, and the great suggestion - done.
Happy May 4th, RD :)

Hello, may the 4th be with you, too, have I met another Star Wars fan?? Love it to pieces mieces. So you want to play with words do you? Watch out when girls come out to play, hahaha This is my favorite word so far, I really wish I had a six to give you. I've been reading your work, and what writer doesn't love words. And specific combinations of words, which produces poetry? Paronomasia is going on my pink jotter at the top of the list, and you know what they say, 'a word a day keeps Alzheimer's away,' hahaha. Thanks for sharing your poetry, Ana :)

Thanks bunches for the lovely, fun review, Ana. I am a Star Wars fan, but I wouldn't classify myself as a tragic!
I did very much enjoy the last one, and I think there is another on the way this year?
Most grateful, Craig
Comment from Gloria ....
This is terrific, Craig. I have no idea how Star Wars Day got past me again, but it did.
Yes and if you had made up that last bit about may the 4th be with you we would think you had a lisp so it's likely just as well you didn't. Do you have a lisp? Not that there's anything wrong with that because there isn't. Okay I am officially taking both feet out of mouth.
Great job with a 4thtastic new word.

Haha, no lisp, Gloria. In fact, I've been told I sounds exactly like Sean Connery - and he doesn't have a lisp.
OK, so I'm a big, fat, liar. I don't sound anything like Sean Connery, but for some reason that seems to get the ladies going.
Thanks for the fun review - Craig

I like this word Craig. You did a great job with a really bizarre word. But it all fits. I like the word better than 'cray cray'. Thanks for a fun share. Jan

Hi meeshu - sadly, I didn't make up the May 4th thing - I wish I had. I'd better put a disclaimer in there about that; I added it after, only as an example. Cheers, Craig
