Excellent shout out to FanStory's sister site, FanArt. There are some very fine artists there and it works well in concert with FanStory.

This is a great tribute to FanArt which I use all the time. I get so much enjoyment from matching a picture to my work. Your rhyme and rhythm are excellent in this poem.

Hi Jen, Thank you and yes it is a buzz to select the artwork I always write first and then select. one can always find a suitable image only occasionally use my own . Your lovely review and stars are appreciated Cheers Christine

Hi Christine. I love the art on FanArt but I don't use it. The reason being that from what I'm told, the image can disappear from our prose or poetry post if the artist takes the image off FanArt. Thereby, it is a temporary use of the art and not permanent. If I'm wrong about that, I apologize, but in reviewing some of my older pieces where FanArt was used for a contest there is no artwork there so I must search for something on the internet to replace it. I would definitely use FanArt IF I was sure the art would be permanent on my written piece. That being said, kudos to you for giving a shout out to these fine artists. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, Thanks you and I find if I use my own images taken from my photo or from Google images album that often the image reattaches itself to another poem and I have had trouble trying to keep the right image on the poem I want it to be. so I find FanArt easier to use in that regard.
Sometimes I think my ipad has gremlins and it is so annoying to go into ones poerfolio only to find all the images have re arranged themselves and then you spend hours trying to fix them up sometimes ai just leave poems without an image

However ai thought It time to acknowledge out Fan Artists and I love a lot of their work Cheers Christine

What a great topic for a poem. I generally find the art for my works on the internet, but your poem inspires me to spend more time going through the Fanstory gallery - as you point out, there are some really talented artists here. And sometimes the art can inspire the poem

Hi Mark, Thank you and sometimes ai do use internet images but I often find they rearrange themselves onto other poem I have written and ai find the wrong image on the wrong poem so I find FanArt easier to ise and keep onto the right poem. then again it may be just me not the most technologically sound user LOL. I always write first and then look for a good image. unless it is a challenge image I so enjoy these also Cheers Christine

Hi Dolly, Thank you but you don,t have to join FanArt it is part of the deal here when you post a poem either choose from a FanArt selection or use an image from your computer. An image often highlights the meaning of our poetry and we have a good lot here Cheers Christine
