This is a very well written three line poem that has a definite impact. The image speaks volumes as does your words, and it's time that something is done to protect our schools from this happening again. A very timely subject that you express well, thanks for sharing.

It's such a waste when those people decide to hold a school to ransom by having a massacre there. I'm a big believer in looking after the weak and innocent.
The only reason that those "brave" terrorists etc go after schools is because they're easy targets.
The bastards should try it on a Martial Arts tournament. We'd welcome the challenge.
I give up my seat to elderly people and ladies all the time.

Wonderful statement made in such few words. It sums up the recent tragedy and all those that went before.
I do hope that the gun laws will be changed very soon.
hugs

I think this is a good entry for the '3 Line Poetry' writing prompt.
Your story is well told in so few words and it is nicely rhymed.
Good luck to you with this one in the competition.

Hello my friend,
This contest entry really packs a punch about the news issues we're hearing about all too often lately. You followed the 5-7-5 syllable requirement well. For me, your descriptive message partnered with that picture bring chills. I wish it weren't our reality, but it is. I hope somebody can find a way to stop the violence.
Best wishes to you in this contest.

About the size of things, when these aspects of violence explodes taking innocent lives, threatening our children at school. Perhaps, the answer is more guns. See who's left. Good shout, in my opinion.

A very well-written heartfelt and thought-provoking poem about how easy our lives can be destroyed by one person who decided to do a horror deed and take away our dreams and hopes in a moment.

Great job using such multi-syllabic words in this very short format. And all three lines actually rhyme. Then the message with the picture gives us a very sobering message especially in the light of the recent tragedy in Florida.

Good use of paradox with 'shared' and 'mixed'. Consonance in last word of each line and then again in the first letter of each line.
