Tom, this photo is a fantastic one of the clouded day and what can be seen in the picture. Your poem is well written and your notes added to the overall feel of a miss from God placed gently on Moses' cheek. I did have to take it to the classic so I could highlight it, which allowed my sick eye to read it, Patricia

I can picture this God's kiss ever so gentle on those He holds dear. This is sheer genius. Nicely done, God's loved Moses and though he did not make it to the promised land, he saw it from afar. Good one.

I really like how you describe Moses's final moments and God's tender kiss. Your use of the ballad format and a chorus seems very appropriate. Stanzas 4 & 5 are especially noteworthy. I also appreciate your notes and research. Thanks so much for sharing. Rod

There is a good feeling that arises from your words. The image of God kissing us is a positive one that shows His love for us. I think the images of nature remind us of this, like you saw in the sky. You have a musical feel to your words, maybe this poem could be a hymn.

A very well-written ballad poem. Moses and God had a special relationship and yet God let Him die before he entered the promised land. A great picture to illustrate the kiss of God.
