We have many crocodiles here in Australia, but much further North in Australia's top. But where we are it's also cold in winter, no snow but too cold for crocs. Beautifully crafted, and rhymed, excellent little poem, most enjoyable, and despite the subject, up beat, well done, blessings, Roy

Thank you Roy. I prefer not to have alligators or croc . I hear those down under are really nasty.

This is a very, very cool poem - and it's so true that this looks just like an alligator. As a matter of act, when I read that it WASN'T I had to go back and take a second and even third look. I can see how it might have easily confused you. *smile*
What fun! The lines on top are my very favorites in this piece. Thanks for sharing!

I can see what looked like an alligator.
That swamps looks disgusting. It's hard to imagine anything could actually live in that.
