I am reminded of the ancient musicals with Ginger rogers and it makes me wonder if you were watching an old black and white as you wrote this down? I liked Dancing on the ceiling"/ Astair's routine when he actually did dance up walls and flipped off the ceiling. I imagine the circular movement could be a routine fora pantoum/

I loved the tap dancing rhythm you created in this piece, all the repetitions that seemed to capture a Fred Astaire scene that is stuck on pause. We are mesmerized by the music here, hypnotized by it, and we can't seem to break free from its spell. this seems like a true minimalist piece where the music of the language comes from repeating phrases and words, rather than rhyme and iambic pentameter. estory

Clack clackety clack . . . Yes the tap dancers metal studs hitting a wooden floor, great sounds and I used to love Fred Astaire. I used to tap dance when I was younger and was in a few shows. 'Tap ball change' and 'toe heel taps', goes well with clackety clack! Love Dolly x

Well whatever you want to call this, it is an interesting read as, clickety clack you tap dance into heaven. For me, it's more a free verse with repeating lines, and I always like repeated lines.
