I enjoyed reading your poem "Late Winter Snow". Fancy falling asleep just when your story was getting interesting. Just one small point your poem rhymed except for verse one lines two and four.

Very nicely, and sweetly done. The rhymes and the rhythm is smooth and steady. I especially enjoyed the use of "sled" and "sleigh" bed in the second stanza. Good luck on the contest.

A nicely written piece. It's playful and brutally honest, especially the last line. I like the way it flows, the rhyme scheme, and the surprise about the late winter snowfall. The realism is evident and there is a good moral. Since you can't do anything about it, enjoy it if you can.

Well this certainly was an uplifting poem. It snowed when we were all expecting an early spring - and you did make the best of it. It's all perspective. We're in the middle of a blizzard now in Massachusetts. Will be back in boots again tomorrow. But not complaining. Getting caught up on some reading...and eating! Thanks for sharing such a fun and upbeat poem. Well done.

Well this certainly was an uplifting poem. It snowed when we were all expecting an early spring - and you did make the best of it. It's all perspective. Your poem that does bring cheer in spite of the late snowfall. Your story tells of a great day of adventure and making the best of what will hopefully be the last storm of the winter.
