Hi there,

I liked the sentiments and subject matter expressed throughout this poem but the mixed rhyming pattern made it difficult to read with a consistent flow.

verse one follows - abbab
verse two follows - aabbb
and the third - monorhyme.

Excellent choice of words reminding us that people put their lives on the line everyday not to make a proud name for themselves but because they are proud to serve and protect. Good rhyme and very emotional.
