Interesting prose..I am always enamored by those who take things literally and never stop to questions why or could this be just a false statement by man to control the masses.
If all you say above is true it does not give those who have not had the chance to make the decision to be a believer or not... What about the child who's parents did not believe? He/she being to young to make the decision himself.. What happens if the child dies before being able to make such a commitment..Does he go to hell because he honored his father? Just my take on your fine work..Even though I disagree with the content I appreciate the writing skills.. tk

Thank you for your honesty...I appreciate such. Please let me be equally frank...why do you assume I, or others like me, never questioned God? On the face of it, It's really (albeit, unintentionally, I trust) insulting to be thought of as so entirely gullible as your review suggests. Please believe me when I say I understand no one has an advantage naturally in these spiritual matters. It's a level playing field for all...yet many refuse to enter the game and instead are on the sideline merely criticizing.

It's truly "strange" that I just read your telephone call to Heaven just before I saw your review. So let me jump to answering the question about the spiritual safety of all children. Every child who dies before the "age of accountability" is in Heaven as soon as she or he dies. They are in conscious awareness of the presence of Jesus Christ, who loves them beyond our comprehension. King David, who was also a Prophet of God, said after the death of his own baby son, (born as a result of his adultery with Bathsheba) "I shall go to him, he shall not return to me." David was headed to "dwell in the house of the Lord forever" Psalm 23. Obviously, he expected to see his son there.

There are no questions the Bible cannot answer. God has never been "stumped" but if you don't investigate the Bible for yourself, how gullible does that make you? You have no answers for evil in the world, no idea where you came from, why you are here and where you are going. Probably you reinforce what you believe by following those who believe as you already do.
Jesus called that the blind leading the blind and both headed for the ditch. By contrast, He is the light of the world, come to lead us out of this spiritual darkness we were born into.
Expose yourself to the words of Jesus Christ and see for yourself. Start with the Gospel of John...there Christ's true identity is revealed. I could say more and would be glad to, if requested. I'm not trying to be dramatic or super spiritual, but it's no coincidence we met here. God bless you, Dennis

Last Sunday I tool a lady from my church, and little did I know she would not see another Sunday she died yesterday. She seemed healthy and this is a shock. She was 7 years younger than me.

Interesting theories or are these revealed in Revelations, as I know the Second coming of Christ is. If we have faith and are good human beings in the service of others there is no reason to doubt that we can have eternal life. What did you mean in your notes when you wrote the conversion of Israel? I spotted two errors: Point 6, it is immanence. Point 10, Evangelism. Good, clear message for us all . Faye

Thank you for catching the misspelling of imminency....the word means the next thing to happen ...in this case... in God's agenda...which is what I meant.. . as for evangelism, I spelled it correctly.
These are not theories but Biblical truth entrusted to the Apostle Paul. He said the church and all its truth was "a secret hidden in God" until revealed to the NT Apostles.
I think you are mistaken in a far more serious matter however. According to Jesus own words in John 5:24, the person who has trusted Him as their personal Savior already possesses eternal life. There would be little point in God giving His Son to die on the cross for our sins if merely living a good life resulted in eternal life. Eternal life with God is never spoken of as a reward but always as the gift of Gift of God received by us through faith in Jesus Christ.

As for Israel being converted at the Second Coming, the OT Prophets often foretold it as linked with the establishment of Christ's Kingdom on earth. Zechariah 12 New King James Version (NKJV)

    The Coming Deliverance of Judah

12 The burden[a] of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2 ?Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4 In that day,? says the Lord, ?I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ?The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.? 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place?Jerusalem.

7 ?The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

    Mourning for the Pierced One

(note v10, especially) God is speaking but Israel will look on "the one they pierced) Jesus is God the only honest conclusion

10 ?And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.[b] 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

This is a good use of the idea of the Rapture to create the purposeful life. The drawback is sometimes people will sit and wait.

I enjoyed your belief concerning the rapture and how Pastor's should be revealing the truth to their congregation. Plus, bringing to life to readers all over the world to understand how important we should be practising our Christian knowledge to others'. You took a great chance to talk about what others' are afraid to talk about. Thank you for expressing yourself in an awesome and powerful way for the reader.

Thank you! The Comfort of Christ?s Coming

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
