How unique and beautiful!
Thank you for bringing this style of poetic communication to my attention.
I love the idea of leaving each other in the morning with a fondness and a longing for rejoining in the evening. I will try to write one.
Verses one and two are particularly touching and expressive to me.

Thank you for the informational piece about an Aubade. So because of you defining what it is I believe the poem does fit the style/form you were going for. It is a wonderful piece accompanied by a beautiful picture. Overall, fantastic.

To cease for one day is something we all long for and there is no reason why we shouldn't take a little time of for the pleasure of a late morning. just at the break of dawn is the greatest feeling under the sheets.
Good use of rhymed couplets

Thank you Sandra. Just reflecting back on those days before I retired on how I had to leave my wife and go out and earn a living. I appreciate your insight.
