Such an important message to never let our faith waver for the Lord will always be there to protect us. Good biblical content and excellent rhyming. I liked the poetic form, good rhythm. Faye

Dear Debi - I am not great on sonnets so can't help you there, but this read wonderfully aloud for me and your rhyme is solid. Overall a well penned work I enjoyed reading it, very expressive.
Thanks for sharing,
Maureen

I caught you biblical references before reading the author notes, but thank you for the explanation of the Italian sonnet. I really haven't read one of these before. Beautifully written!

No negative comments. The title is similar to that of an 1860s hymn, but not identical. Mamma mia, the sonnet she'sa buono. The Italian construction is a lot like a prompt in itself...

Beautiful art work in every way.
I loved the words written as well
God has chosen us all to live on
earth and hopefully onwards to heaven
He helps us all to walk with confidence
and helps us when we stray.

What a very lovely sonnet this is, with marvelous rhyme and an almost musical cadence. I especially love that it is written in such a way as to be so very uplifting, and I liked that you included Biblical quotes in your author's notes. The artwork you chose is marvelous too - gorgeous presentation.

I hope you know, you're precious in my sight.
I'll go ahead and still I'll pay the price,
and open wide my arms and take you in. - my favorite lines
Don't you love that He doesn't push us, but so wants to take us in? This is beautifully written and I really enjoyed it. The artwork is perfect for Peter's scare on the water.
