You taught us a lot again, most I did not now or forgot. Do you maybe watch animal planet? Any story or poem about animals I love. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Thanks for the nice review, I don't watch animal planet as i hardly ever watch TV. I took a writing course for writing for children and my instructor told me it might be a good thing for me to write non fiction, so that is why I am doing the nature series as I love to do research.

A most interesting read. I did not know that they ate meat at all. I was surprised by how small the baby is when it is born. Also, was amazed by how many times they defecate in a day. No wonder they don't have time for much else activity! I always hate to hear that any animal has to face poachers. Very educating piece. Enjoyed it! Melissa

Good article, pat. I've always been somewhat fascinated by the Giant Panda and "Panda diplomacy". It's so true that China's image has been softened because of its association with the animal. I thought it very interesting that they are now renting the animals at terrific prices and making sure the continue to own the cubs born in captivity. Good business thinking.
Lots of good information in your post. I enjoyed the read. Well done!

Wow you gave us a very detailed description of the panda and I learned new things about how they lived in different stages of their life. This is really an informational post that everyone interested in wild life and animals will value. Thanks for sharing this in depth report on pandas.

Very informative and very well written. These have to be one of my favourite animals. They always look so cute and cuddly. Some really interesting facts in this piece. I knew they were an endangered species but wasn't aware of how rare they were becoming. interesting to read about their lives and to read all the facts and information you have researched. Thank you for sharing this. I loved reading it. Genya
