The picture was brilliant. I've seen many a sky like that in Florida, where we have an everyday afternoon shower. Most of the time they don't last long, but if you get caught, you will get soaked. Thanks again for the information about the Rictometer, I had no idea what that was.

Well done. Although here it is reversed. The weatherman said it would rain and so far the sky is blue and the sun is smiling. Maybe our weather forecasters should start writing poetry.

It certainly looks as if those stadium lights will be needed if the game is to go ahead! The weather forecaster's lot is not a happy one. Even with the mass of recorded data at his disposal, his predictions are still an inexact science!
