Even though I am not a real big fan of the 5-7-5 poetry or haiku I found this to be a good poem. I think that you did a good job of writing this poem and the way you started and ended it I thought was real good and the middle ties it together. Keep up the good work

American Flag All caps = patriotic
rain on a summer evening as we reflect
drips with history a VERY powerful line
Some say that the red in the flag represents the blood of those who sacrificed all to preserve our freedoms. Well said and presented.
