A beautiful depiction of that growing flower, an almost slow motion look as it develops within the warmth of yellow sun. Well done.

That looks like a delightful pink gerbera to me.
Simple alternate rhymes are used so effectively to explain the
Simple requirements that this plant needs to grow and thrive.
Another colourful delight to brighten our lives.

I loved the dainty feel to this. The details of the flower were lovely. I could sense the delicate nature of the flower and I especially loved the mention of the leaves cleaving . This was awesome.

Dear Tom - you take the most exquisite nature shots. This poem has great rhyme and words that really describe the flower in such detail. Wonderful post, creative at its best.
Thanks for sharing it.

I think I prefer this style, Tom, for this photo, it has a lovely spring like, bouncy rhyme and rhythm. The words literally dance as you read them. That is what I love about poetry, you can bring words to life, just as you have here. xsx Sandra

It is finally warming up. It snowed yesterday, but is getting into the 50s this weekend. Still about 2 feet of snow on the ground.
