Lovely image in this 5-7-5 poem. I loved the word leaves the way you used it here.After the word sweeps we think of clearing the fallen leaves but of course there is the straightforward meaning of leaving summer behind.

Beautiful Haiku,, worded beautifully, then there is the beauty of the fall, with its autumn tonings. Beauty as the leaves ride the wind as it passes striping the trees bear,, great write,, blessings,,sueellen

This is a perfect 5-7-5 poem. The words make sense and reads easily. the picture and the theme relate well. I liked the words September unfolds.

A very short poem but to the point. I have written some short poem but none that short. Here is one I will share. No matter how hard life might be never give up your hopes and dreams.

this is very well written, gwhargis, you did an excellent job writing this 5 7 5 poem about the sweet relief of fall that is coming upon us. i didn't have to use my air conditioner in the car yesterday. that was wonderful
