Lol! I was going to bet that Don was your "break dancer" - boys have so much more energy! How wonderful you had that one-on-one time with Carol just before all your worlds was changed by the twins. That's so cute that Carol unknowingly predicted the boy AND girl twins!
for a six weeks stretch, (six week stretch or six-week) it's not plural because it's used as an adjective here.

What a lovely, but scary surprise, Beth. As we know now, you survived it. It seems Carol knew what she wanted. Lol Thanks for sharing. It's very well written.

Yes, there is nothing like those sweet little ones to puff your heart up so full of love. But then, those little angels grow up, and then you get to see of the side. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again, Yes those little angels do have another side that we eventually see but we try to keep loving them anyway.

What a cutie, Beth. She also 'predicted' a girl and a boy. I enjoyed this chapter. You did a great job getting so much info into it. What a job--though it did seem a little better than some of the earlier ones. Yes, what a surprise too--twins. I can imagine the fun times ahead for you and hubby.
Respectfully, Jan

It seems Carol was a young prophetess, "out of the mouth of babes and sucklings..." I though I was the luckiest man alive having two daughters, I'm still lucky, with five healthy grandchildren. Like you, I had had umpteen jobs when young. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. Having a lot of jobs isn't a bad thing. You don't have time to get burned out and you take away some new knowledge with each of them.

This is a very interesting and exciting chapter. Twins! We thought I might have twins one pregnancy, but nope, he was turned sideways and that accounted for the two bumps the doctor felt. hahahaha

Thank you for a nice review. I liked your comments. Having two at one time made me even on the pregnancies. I lost the first child. but I had four pregnancies and I have four kids.

Just a couple small edits:
We've had **A** good run, but today The State Times will issue its final edition.
Carol would have a brother or sister near her age. so this was a good thing. <= remove period or capitalize So
Otherwise this looks good and seems to be right on schedule with the calendar. My first brother was born the same week.

Thanks so much for the review and comment, and for noticing the two errors that needed correcting.

What a fun story. Since I am a twin, this was special to me, and I am glad that all survived. I can just see Carol when you brought them home. My sister who was just older, said she could see why I wasn't growing because I didn't have teeth! Your book sounds interesting. I will be looking for future chapters.

Thank you so much for a great review. The previous chapter which is called, "Back the the Drawing Board" was posted yesterday and is still active. You may want to check that one out.

Dear Beth,
A very interesting story about your life. I like how you write. It brought the events to life for me. I would have awarded this a six but it could be improved by not over using was and had. This is passive voice which dents the impact of the story. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it but think it could be superlative if edited carefully. I wanted to know more about your life and what happened after I finished this piece.
Warm regards,
Winslow

Thank you Winslow. I appreciate the review and great comments. I'll definitely go back and try to get rid of the passive verbs. It is an ongoig story. It's all part of what for now I'm calling Chasing the Elusive Dream. Battling the Baby Blues is the next chapter and it is active. I've resurreced it from an older post.
