SO true Jackie! Why don't we all just worry about ourselves rather then try and find reasons to judge others? What is the actual point????:) great poem... It's so true, if God wanted our opinion on things, he would have made us Jesus!

It is a tragedy that I have no 6s to share here. Every line-every sentiment gets a standing ovation. Good for you. I love how this reads from start to finish.

I sure agree about the 'holier than thou' element, who are often complete shits themselves, Jaq.

Of course, we all need to live our lives within a certain code of understanding, charity and kindness towards others, but I sure ain't taking notice of the 'you'll burn in hell' loonies, when I'll be much further back than them in the bonfire queue.

    Hmmmmmm I just get so angry they they think people are lesser mortals because their life-style choices are different to theirs. I expect a backlash, but I really don't care. I wouldn't have posted it if I couldn't take the comments :) Jaq xxx

    I doubt you'll get any negative reviews, Jaq.

    Most of these creeps used to hang out in the site 'forum' - in case you didn't know, it may be accessed by clicking on 'Profile' in the site toolbar at the top of page. Then 'click' 'forum', and then click 'general'.

    There's some interesting debate and also some nastiness on there.

    Of course, I'm always the height of diplomacy, and can't understand how I've created so many enemies on site. LOL xx

I love the slender stanza form of this poem - it enables the poet, skilfully, to highlight her points in one-word rhyming lines. A clever piece of polemic poetry!
