Loads of excellent 'w' alliteration throughout, Jaq.
My jury is out on Global Warming, as what caused the ice age for example, when Man didn't have to tools to change the climate.
However, abuse of the eco system by the greedy, particualrly large companies who have too much free reign from governments, surely can't help and needs to be addressed in case it is a contributory factor toweards the end of life as we know it.
You put an excellent caring case with top personifcation of nature ('Mother') in distress.
Though this theme is somewhat commonplace, it can't be written about enough, especially in the necessary dramatic fashion you've done here.

Cheers Ray I'll make the change :) I haven't had any ideas for a poem for ages and this woke me up. So just thought I'd run with it. Thanks for your review my friend xx

I'm the same, Jaq, and have lost a lot of writing inspiration. It was only checking this contest I realised I'd reserved a spot, so that got me thinking.
It's one where anyone who votes must review ALL the entries, so the vote will be understandably low and mostly by the interested entrants, but I'm keeping up with entries when they're posted so as not to have to reiew them all in one go.
