Your poem was a good read. Flowed nicely and rhyming was perfectly done. It is hard when our children grow up and harder when they move away. Keep up the writing, and I will keep reading.

What a nice tribute to your daughter. There is a nice flow to your poem but I felt some need for rhyme. It just felt incomplete without it. Thanks for sharing!

Happy days are for the love bird
as they leave the nest to see
the what awaits them in the new
names and place. we wish them love
and lots of joy as they go forth into their new life.
seeing your little girl all grown up and married and cutting the apron strings tugs at the heart. she is off to a brand new start. it is time to let go

I think you certainly captured the essence of the 'big day' is that what the u.s calls it too? You should write a bigger poem, it will be great. The photo of the happy couple was perfect to use.
