That fourth line just cries out for special treatment as you have done here revealing the innermost thoughts.
Just subtle enough too for me to have to go back and check,;Did she really mean that?'
Good luck - could be a tough contest looking at the entrants.

Thank you so much for the Green one! I am having fun trying out all sorts of possibilities with the short line. I can't wait to read what jumps out of your oh so fertile mind. Lots of heavy hitters in this here contest. Could be a great battle.

Thank you Joy for taking the time to read and review my work. I am having fun trying to figure out how to best use this new form. I appreciate your comments on the shortened lines. I like that it adds punch to a piece and seems to be particularly effective in storytelling.

Hey there DW. Thanks so much for the read and review. I am having fun with this new form of mine and I think it lends itself best to storytelling mode. I will know better when I have read all the entries to my contest. Don't see your name there yet????? Thanks for the sixth too. It means a lot coming from you.
