Not only is Little Miss Annabel spoiled it seems to have paid off. Sweets, cars, airplanes to Spain, and a long life too! I'm keeping this one away from the kids. They may get the wrong idea.

Rather good! In fact it's better than that and should delight any child. I feel I've seen it before, perhaps in a published book of yours, but it's probably the style that strikes a chord. Well done and could do well in the contest. Peter

Wonderful effort. Your poem has great flair to it and the words are carefully sculpted to fit the cadence. You have hit the nail on the head with this, a truly fun and light poem with lots of little references to make a reader pause. I hope you won.

Just great for kids. This poem definitely needs to be read out loud. You paint such a vivid picture of this little girl, I felt like I could see her cake Fizz and goo! Good luck in the contest~Katherine

Wow, what a spoiled little one!
She never knew how spoiled she was because she wasn't ever denied anything. Her dolls had better lifestyles than most adults would ever experience. I like reading about the excessiveness and the fact that this kid lived to be 105! Wow! Good luck in the contest!

I could see this in my imagination and oh my goodness what a picnic. Yes I also would like to know how she managed to thrive to one hundred and five not just because the food was bad for her but who could tolerate her. Good luck in the contest.

This is excellent I really like the simplicity of the rhyming. Not many use the word wazoo, I like it, you can tell you are from down under.

Very good post. Looks like Annabel was truly spoiled. I think spoiling a young one is normal. Problem is some people forget to stop the spoiling until it is too late, then you have a problem child. I think most people who have had the pleasure of having children have spoiled them to some extent. I am the father of five, I have seen it all.

Thank you - I really just wanted to show that a child could be spoilt without necessarily becoming a brat - like the comic strip Tichie Rich.
