Dear Spitfive,

This is a promotional piece extolling the benefits that can be gained with prayer. For if we have faith, then you shall be rewarded. Well written and gives a place to consider contacting.

Warm regards,

Winslow

Thanks, Winslow. Promotional makes it sound commercial. Not my intent. Just wanted to share a phone number that has brought me peace when I needed it.

Oh you will never know what you just gave me. Thank you for this, for me, for so many others hurting, experiencing daily trauma. This is so informative, well written and so appreciated. How great that you are giving information that may be vital to people and create many other connections for them. Relieving even a small amount of someone else's pain is a very precious thing. God bless you.

Your review moves me to tears. I read so many sad stories that I knew I had to get this information out.

Oh, you cannot imagine how I cannot wait to call them. Of course, there are other outlets here for all this pain, but prayer is always wonderful. Any further connection to God, through prayer, is soothing for me. Thank you.

Oh Boy! Spitfire you have lifted the hopes of so many writers on the site who are going to jam the Unity Village's phone line with requests for publishing their work. It's all a matter of faith my friend, like Jesus said to Mary Magdalene, "It's not I who saved you, it's your faith in me that saved you."

I'm SO glad you shared this with us. What a wonderful ministry. Your little article is written perfectly, yet I prefer to comment on content.
I shared it on Facebook. Hope that's ok.

That's fine. I want to get the message out. SU has helped me much when overwhelmed. Thanks ever so much for the six stars. This took a while to research and write.

I've heard of Unity Village before but didn't know much about it. Your article was informative and written without extraeneous material. Jazz guitarist, Pat Metheny, has an album titled Unity Village. I think he's from the area. he also has an album called "As falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls". Good write.

Thanks, my cool sax player. That's quite a title for an album!

Just the act of reaching out, sharing your burden and knowing someone cares enough to lift your need up to God. That in itself could be the beginning of relief and emotional/spiritual healing.

This is such a kind and caring piece of information that you've shared.

I figured that next time someone wrote about a problem, I'll refer them to the article. Their teachings helped me through high school over forty years ago.

My Mom has been on a prayer chain for years and years. I remember her getting phone calls at all hours of the day and night for prayer from the church. My Dad was the pastor of the church. Nice read...nicer service. :)

This is a very cool and intriguing post. I have never heard of this organization before. I believe this would be called a 'persuasive essay,'wouldn't it teach? Well, you did a great job. BTW, I have something exciting to tell you about. I will PM you.

I think of it as informative, or perhaps spiritual. A persuasive essay presents for and against arguments to my knowledge. Can't wait to get to my PM's now.

This was such touching read Spitfire
very heartfelt and endearing
there are many times we can all use such a thing
prayer can do wonders, i found this to be such
a humble read, you never know whos reading even if
they don't review they are reading, and surly thinking
now that you weaved this into their mind
I must say for me I have come to better terms
with religion since coming on this site
this really made for a inspiring read
thanks for sharing this .. its one to save just in case
I ever need or know one that could use prayer

Thanks, Tammy. I prefer the word spiritual to religious. I feel confined in a church and find hypocrisy rampant among many who listen to sermons and then do the opposite.
reply by TammyGail on 23-Feb-2012
yes I like that word much better as well and yes hypocrisy and back bitting are the reasons I do my own at home without the nonsense
