Money is a problem that everyone has to deal with. I imagine that Anna never had to deal with money. The cost of everything must have shocked her.

I like this story. It seems to be giving hope to women in abusive situations that there is a new life after divorse.I like the flow of the words. Even the matter of fact nature of the house hunting isn't boring because the craftswomanship is brilliant.

Good job including those details that show what a woman has to think about as she is looking at apartments. It is imortant to educate your readers and you do it without making it to lengthy or too boring.

Well written with its ability to draw the reader in and cause him to sympathize with Anna. Use of dialogue solidifies the position of all in the story.
You may wish to edit this:
