Your story is fun and easy to read. I liked the wording and grammar you used. It sounded like the way a child speaks. You reminded me of my childhood Christmas. Thank you for sharing and good luck.

Really first-rate story - in the voice of a child who is most reluctant to give up believing in Santa Claus. The combination of innocence and intelligence makes this boy's story very appealing.

I liked this true story and I still believe in Santa! It is always interesting to see through the eyes of a child and we don't often get the chance. Good luck in the competition.

A wonderful short story.
One I enjoyed immensely.
A child's dilemma, one we have all faced.
Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes.

what happened to the milk I left out? - add the question mark
I love the grate breaking part - how adorable, and the fact that daddy doesn't even like fruitcake
You tell this extremely well from a child's point of view - and also using age-appropriate grammar :-) Good luck in the contest. Brooke

Cute story about believing in Santa. It does sound like a story from the point of view of a child. I didn't see any SPAG. Good luck in the contest.
